Pinewood Apartments project combines a historic mansion, which is an example of a classic Jurmala architecture, and 2 modern apartment houses, consisting of 14 apartments each.


About project

The task of MARK ARHITEKTI bureau architects was not only integrate the project into the overall picture of Jurmala low-rise buildings and pine forest, but also create an eco-efficient building complex, that meets the requirements of modern life. A simple style, that looks in a harmony with the environment, was chosen for the project.

Construction and finishing

External walls and ceilings were manufactured in accordance with the latest Austrian VST technology (patented permanent formwork system), which provides a favourable indoor climate, high sound insulation and fire resistance, confirmed by international certificates. Autonomous gas heating. Convector batteries. Floor — parquet board. High quality panoramic windows and doors.

Plumbing

Plumbing by Villeroy & Boch was used in the apartment house. Finishing — natural marble. There is a bathroom with an installed bath in each apartment. For apartments with 3 bedrooms, a second bathroom is mandatory. There are also air temperature control and floor heating regulators.

Terraces

There are roof terraces for the apartments, located on the 3rd floor. Staircase, decorated in the classic Jurmala Art Nouveau style, leads from the hallway or living room to the terrace. The terrace area ranges from 67 to 120 sq.m.

Balconies

Balconies, terraces and patios make up 42% of the total building area. The cover of balconies and terraces is made of a special terrace board, the thermal insulation layer is made in accordance with the European standards established in Latvia.
